Adoxal, also known commercially as Farenal, is a powerful synthetic aldehyde widely used in perfumery for its fresh marine and aldehydic character. It provides a strong ozonic, green, and slightly citrus-like effect that enhances modern aquatic compositions. The material is highly diffusive and impactful even at very low dosages. It adds brightness, lift, and freshness to floral and marine accords. Adoxal is commonly used in fine fragrances, detergents, and personal care products.
